Larry L. Kolbeck, 41, formerly of Marshfield and Eagle River, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2008, at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 15, at Rembs Funeral Home.

The visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Friday, both at the funeral home.

Larry L. Kolbeck, 41, formerly of Marshfield and Eagle River, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2008, at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 15, at Rembs Funeral Home with the Rev. James Logan officiating. Burial will be in the Veterans Field of Honor in Hillside Cemetery where military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post No. 54 of Marshfield.

The visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. today and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.

Larry was born Oct. 2, 1966, in Marshfield to Jerome and Betty (Schmidt) Kolbeck. He had served in the U.S. Army and the National Guard from 1985 until 1988. He re-enlisted in the Army and served during the Gulf War. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved his dog.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Betty and Donald Singstock of Marshfield and by his father, Jerome Kolbeck of Hewitt. He is also survived by two sisters, Diane (Rick Kohl) Kolbeck of Marshfield and Donna (Brian) Weis of Anchorage, Alaska. He is further survived by two nieces, Deidre Kolbeck and Tammy Kohl.
