Van Nostrand, Emma #2 (7 JUN 1905)
The marriage of Miss Emma Van Nostrand and Mr. William D. Sontag occurred last evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Poate, Rev. Campbell officiating. Miss Julia Van Nostrand acted as bridesmaid and Mr. Rudolph Walk as groomsman. The bride is one of Neillsville’s (Clark Co., Wis.) young ladies and has lived here since childhood, and for several years has been a popular dressmaker of this place. The groom, who was born and grew to manhood here, has for years been employed on the Omaha R. R., and at present is a conductor on same. Both have many friends here who wish them happiness and success in life. Mr. and Mrs. Sontag left on the midnight train for Milwaukee and Chicago, from whence they take the Grand Trunk line via Niagara Falls to New York City, where they will spend a couple weeks, after which they will reside in Altoona. The relatives from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Sontag and family of Altoona, Mrs. Carl Walk and children of Abbotsford, and Misses Julia and Lula Van Nostrand of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
