Kurth, Adolph (7 DEC 1863 - 4 JUN 1904)
Adolph Kurth died Saturday, June 4th, 1904, at the home Pleasant Ridge (Clark Co., Wis.), of tuberculosis, aged 41 years. Deceased was second son of the late Charles and Mrs. Minnie Kurth, and was born at West Bend, Washington Co. He was brought to this county when a child, the family settling at Kurth’s Corners where they have since resided. Decedent is survived by the mother, three brothers, Richard, Robert and William, and two sisters, Mrs. Amanda Handke and Mrs. Anna Wilding.
The funeral services were held at the house Tuesday afternoon, June 7, Rev. Coleman of Nasonville, officiating, the burial being in the Lutheran Cemetery at Garbush’s Corners, near the church.
Adolph was an excellent citizen, who made and kept many friends, and his loss to the family and the community is a severe one.
