Boullion, John #2 (MAR 1832 - 19 AUG 1904)
Mr. John Boullion died at the home of his son Robert in this city (Neillsville, Clark Co., Wis.) on Friday evening, Aug. 19th, 1904, of dropsy, aged 73 years, 5 months, and was buried Monday forenoon, Aug. 21st, from the Catholic Church, Rev Jos. Hauck officiating, the burial being in the Catholic Cemetery. His wife died many years ago at DePere, where she is buried. Deceased had made his home here since last February, when he came here from Minneapolis.
He was born at Murray Bay, in Province Quebec, Canada, and came to Wisconsin in 1861, locating at Kewaunee, residing later at DePere, and at Oconto, his later years being spent with one or the other of his children, who are: Mrs. A. Duvall of Kewaunee, Mrs. M. Beaune of Merrillan, John, Robert and George of Minneapolis, Neillsville and Wausau. The aged man suffered considerable pain during the more acute stages of the disease, but bore up well and continued cheerful to the end, dying an instant after sitting up in bed to take a drink of water. The floral tributes presented at his funeral were many and beautiful, and the family were filled with gratitude at these and other evidences of kindness on the part of friends.
