McIntire, Genevieve #2 (16 JAN 1881 - 29 OCT 1904)

Mrs. Genevieve McIntire died at Chicago Saturday, Oct. 29th, 1904. She was operated upon for ulcers of the stomach by Dr. Senn, assisted by Dr. Frank Conroy, on Wednesday, the 26th, her death following on Saturday, the 29th. The body was brought home (Neillsville, Clark Co., Wis.) Sunday, and the funeral held Tuesday afternoon, a short service being held by Rev. G. W. Longenecker. The tribute of cut flowers was very profuse and beautiful. The choir music was by Misses Ellen Huntly and Ethel Ring and Messrs. H. C. Clark and forest Calway.

Deceased was born Genevieve Lowe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lowe, Jan. 16, 1881, in this city, growing to womanhood here. She was married to Ernest McIntire Nov. 12, 1901. Her life’s history is the simple story of sweet and sunny childhood, maidenhood and womanhood. She was an only child, the sunshine of the home. The husband, father and mother have the deepest sympathy of all. We have all lost a highly valued friend, for Genevieve was popular with all, friendly with everybody, for although an invalid for years, few were aware of the fact, cheerfulness being one of her strongest characteristics.
