Drescher, Herman (19 MAY 1822 - 5 NOV 1904)

Herman Drescher, died at the home of his son Julius, in Grant (Clark Co., Wis.), Saturday, Nov 5th, 1904, aged 82 years and 5 months, having been born in Saxe-Altenburg, Germany May 19, 1822. The funeral was held Wednesday, Nov. 9, with interment at the Grant Cemetery, Rev. Jacob Schneller of Marshfield officiating.

Deceased leaves the following sons and daughters: Frank, Louis, Augusta, Robert, Fred, Elvin, Bernhardt and Julius. He came to this country in 1866, locating in Washington Co., and to Clark County in 1870.

He was a hardworking man until his great age interfered, was a good citizen and much respected, as was shown by the large funeral.
