Miss Helen Rosandich, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Rosandich of Granton, Rt. 3, became the bride of Lawrence Schultz, son of Mr. Lowell Schultz of Spencer, on May 15, (1948), at 2:30 p.m. at a double ring ceremony in the parsonage of the Corpus Christi Church at Bakerville. The Reverend Arthur J. Cramer officiated.
The bride’s white satin gown had a yoke and peplum; sleeves, yoke and peplum were all lace-trimmed. She carried a sweetheart rose shower bouquet. Her maid of honor was Miss Amanda Rosandich of Marshfield, and the two bridesmaids were Miss Alice Bahm of Loyal and Miss Rose Bymers of Marshfield. Their gowns and matching bonnets were in taffeta; aqua, yellow and pink, respectively. Best man was Steve W. Rosandich Jr., brother of the bride, and the two ushers were Howard Schultz of Spencer and Gilbert Bymers of Marshfield.
A reception was held after the wedding at the home of the bride’s parents, for 120 guests. Decorations carried out the colors of the bridal party, consisting of a canopy of aqua, yellow, pink and white, centered in a white wedding bell.
Among the out-of-town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. John Rosandich and family of Oconomowoc, brother and sister-in-law of the bride; Mr. and Mrs. Tom Rosandich of Milwaukee; Louis and Martin Rosandich and Miss Irma Kroening of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Fisher, Mr. Eldon Fisher, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Linsmeier, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Arnold, Mr. and Mrs. John Enfield and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Shimkus, all of Wisconsin Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. John Matanich, Mr. and Mrs. Barney Rohm and Mr. and Mrs. Milan Matanich of Loyal; and Mr. and Mrs. James Erickson and family of Evanston, Illinois.
The bride is a graduate of the Granton High School and of the Wood County Normal School, and has taught for the last four years in Clark County. The groom graduated from Marshfield High School and from a dairy course at the University of Wisconsin. He served three years in the U. S. Army. He is now associated with a plastic firm in Wisconsin Rapids, where the young couple will make their home.
