The Methodist church at Unity was the scene of the wedding on June 26, (1948) of Miss Doris Mary Crossgrove, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Crossgrove of Unity, and Gilbert Hoesly, son of Mrs. Mathilda Hoesly of Basca.

The couple will reside in New Glarus, following their honeymoon to Niagara Falls.
