Funeral services for Gilbert N. Johnson, 34, Abbotsford, who died May 14, at Owen, following a heart attack were held Monday afternoon at Trinity Lutheran church at Unity.

The body, which lay in state at the Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby, was taken to the church where the Rev. Robert Sutherland conducted final rites which were followed by interment in the parish cemetery.

The pallbearers were James Brunkhorst, Wayne Hendrickson, Douglas Johnson, Duane Johnson, Wayne Johnson, Ronald Schmidt.

Gilbert Norman Johnson was born Oct. 10, 1931, at Unity, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Salem Johnson, now of Abbotsford.  He was educated in the Unity schools.

Besides his parents, who survive him, he leaves a brother, Harley Johnson of Colby, and a sister, Mrs. Charles (Elaine) Wheatley Jr. of Washington, D.C.
