Curtiss, Wis. - Aug. 2, 1956

The Grant Herrick family held their annual family reunion on the lawn of the home of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Peterson Sunday, July 22. About sixty attended from Milwaukee, Columbus, Plainfield, Beaver Dam, Packwaukee, Oxford, Endeavor and Withee.

The Misses Bertha and Gertrude Schultz of Milwaukee visited their sister, Mrs. Anna Tonn, and other relatives here this week.

Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Kobs and family of Waukesha are visiting his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kobs, and mother, Mrs. Gusta Kobs, this week.

Guests of Mrs. Frank Matthias on Friday were Louis Matthias of Antigo and daughter, Loraine Matthias of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Schiszik and sons of Phoenix, Ariz., are visiting with his mother, Mrs. Ida Schiszik, and son Lionel.

Rev. and Mrs. E. Wilhelm and family drove to Princeton, Minn., Monday, taking their niece, Miss Pamela Trunk, home after she spent the past two months with them.

Mr. and Mrs. Art Peterson and sons of Madison spent the week-end with his mother, Mrs. E. M. Peterson.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Reishus returned to their home in Glen Allen Saturday after spending several weeks at their farm here.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Johnson of Chicago spent the fore part of the week with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Braithwaite.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Matthias of Ashland spent several days this week with his mother, Mrs. Frank Matthias.

Peter Zasoba of Chattanooga, Tenn., former Curtiss resident, called on friends here Tuesday.
