Chas. Jakel was a business caller in Curtiss Monday.
A good husband is one who feels in his pockets ever time he passed a mail box.
Martin Richlein is sure a busy man getting farmers to cut and bring the peas and let the hay stand a little longer.
Edwin Peterson came in town Saturday eveing collecting. All he collected was a nice cool dish of ice cream that the won on the Willard - Firpo bout.
Mr. Fred Graves, mother and sister from Thorp was over Sunday visiting at F. A. Ecke’s.
Fred Ostenson was in Curtiss Monday shopping.
Geo. Kerner Sundayed at home visiting with friends. Geo. is working for Ben Riplinger this summer on one of Ben‘s farms.
Wm. Fahrenbach drove home from Medford Sunday with another load of those dandy Holstein’s
Fred Graves drove over from Thorp Sunday evening after his mother and sister who were at Ed. Crowsey’s over Sunday.
C. H. Ravy and family drove up near Phillips Sunday and spent the day.
The Editor Mr. Clark called on the Curtiss correspondent Monday for a business and social chat.
Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Green drove over to Abbotsford Sunday.
The dancing party at Schroeder’s Hall Saturday evening was a success as there were 110 couples attending.
