An Equity meeting at
the hall tonight and will also elect more officers for the Christie Creamery.
W.K. Armitage and wife attended the funeral of Mr. John Adams of Loyal on
Tuesday, Dec. 28.
Joseph Briton and wife of Plum City, Pierce County, who
was called to Loyal by her sister, Mrs. Adams, made W.K. Armitage's a visit last
week.
Emil Jossie is home from Park Falls. He did not think he was
getting large enough wages for the work he was doing.
Nelson Timerson and
wife and daughter Tillie of Spokeville visited with W.K. Armitage's people New
Year's night and Sunday.
Mattie Cole returned from her home in Olivert
last Monday to her cousin's, Mrs. Chas. Broker.
Mable Hake visited Della
Armitage last Friday and Saturday. They all ate New Year's dinner at W.K.
Armitage's, also Mrs. Chas. Broker and Tony Freeman.
Mrs. C. Mills took
her little son Calvin to Neillsville last week to have him treated for spinal
trouble.
T.H. Barber of Withee has been making his sister, Mrs. S.H.
Chase, a visit.
John Chase cut his foot quite badly a few days ago.
Mile McLane and wife are home from North Dakota on a visit to their parents
here.
