Mrs. G. Fradette returned to her home at Greenwood
Sunday.
Almon McCarty went last Thursday to Dorchester to scale for
Roddis Veneer Co.
Miss Alida Swenson resumed her school duties in the
Christopherson District on Monday.
The Royal Neighbors installed officers
Wednesday night. Their families were invited and lunch was served after the
installation.
Miss Anna Delamater returned Sunday to her school duties
here after a vacation of two weeks.
Mr. Dick Laneville, who was taken
suddenly ill four weeks ago, died at the Eau Claire Hospital last Tuesday night
of diabetes, the remains were buried at Eau Claire.
The Beavers and
Queens installed officers Saturday night, after which lunch was served.
Mr. Vehrink, who liveds on the old Poppe place, was attacked Friday by his bull,
which knocked him down and injured him quite badly and would no doubt have
killed him had not their Shepard dog came to the rescue.
