Shaw, Nathan Ray (30 September 1984 - 27 July 2013)
Nathan Ray Shaw, 28,
of St. Paul, TX, on Lake Lavon died Saturday, July 27, 2013.
Nathan was
born Sept. 30, 1984, in Dallas TX, the son of Goodwin and Sherry (Shaw) Westbay.
He moved to Neillsville when he was five and graduated from Neillsville High
School in 2003. He moved back to Garland, TX, after graduating. He later lived
at Lake Lavon. He worked various jobs in delivery, security and maintenance.
Nathan was living his dream on the lake as a guide hunter and fisherman. He
loved the outdoors, his great hunting and fishing adventures, boating, riding
his dirt bike, playing poker and cooking his wild game and fish.
Nathan
was loved and will be greatly missed by many family and friends. He had a warm
heart, a great sense of humor, a contagious smile, was fun to be around and made
everyone feel warm and welcome.
Survivors include his parents, Goodwin
and Sherry Westbay; a brother, Wesley (Mandy) Shaw; niece Bella; nephew Eli;
grandparents Clyde and Gail Shaw; several aunts and uncles, many cousins and
many much-loved friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents,
Bud and Lois Westbay.
Services for Nathan were held Aug. 3 at Charles W.
Smith & Sons Funeral Home in Sachse, TX.
