Dave Shanks
of Eau Claire stopped off at Tioga with his sample came Tuesday.
Mack
Butler brought the bridge men down from the Eau Claire River Tuesday to unload a
car of bridge iron.
John Shepard came home from Strum Tuesday for a visit
with the home folks.
W.R. Church has made several trips to Tioga with saw
logs.
G.H. Palms has been on the sick list for a few days.

Slover called on Mrs. Dimple Stafford of Greenwood on Thursday.

Bedell drove to Greenwood Thursday.
The Halley comet was seen here Friday
night, Jan. 21. It certainly looks nice. It is west of the evening star and was
seen about 6 o'clock and was out of sight again before seven.

Loy and Mrs. Bigelow visited with Mrs. W. Bedell Thursday.
The Club was
well attended Wednesday night at the home of J.M. Palms, and all did ample
jusitce to the generous supply of popcorn, which was served. It was very nice.
Wednesday night, Jan. 26th, they will meet with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Westphal.
There was a big crowd at the dance at Mr. Oleson's Friday night in the
hotel. All had a good time until about 4 o'clock in the morning.
Mrs.
A.W. Loy and granddaughter, Vera Slover spend Saturday and Sunday with Mrs. J.M.
Palms.
Emma Furlong returned from Thorp Saturday to resume her school
duties.
Mrs. Emma Pitts and father, Warren Pitts, visited Sunday with Mr.
and Mrs. C.J. Bigelow.
