Komarek, Brian J. Sr. (September 22, 1956 - September 3, 2008)

Brian J. Komarek, Sr., 52, of the town of Dewey in Portage County died Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at his residence.

A funeral service was held Sunday, Sept. 14 at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford, Wis.

Brian was born September 22, 1956, in Wausau, to John and Jeanette (Zettler) Komareck Jr.

He attended grade school in Athens and later received his GED through Athens Public High School. Following his schooling he move to Stevens Point where he was employed at Lullabye Furniture Co. making furniture for children.

Brian married Sandy Bunkelman in 1982. They later divorced. Some time later, He married Michelle Kuehl and was later divorced.

He moved to Lake Tomahawk were he worked as a plant manager for Johnson Level and Tool Co. Brian later moved back to the Stevens Point area residing in the Town of Dewey. He was currently employed as an administrator for CAP Services of Stevens Point. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and also enjoyed snowmobiling.

Brian is survived by his children, Brian Komarek, Jr., Lake Tomahawk, Miranda Komarek, Wausau and Brianna Komarek, Lake Tomahawk; his mother, Jeannette Komarek, Abbotsford; his paternal grandmother, Marcella Komarek, Abbotsford; his siblings, Terry (Glenda) Komarek, Wausau, Debra (Bobby) Rudolph, Unity and Lynette (Dale) Hanne, Gilman.
