Keller, Marcella (Marriage - 9 October 1948)

Miss Marcella M. Keller of Colby, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Keller of Curtiss, became the bride of Herbert A. Schilling, so of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Schilling of Colby, October 9, (1948). The double ring ceremony took place at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Abbotsford, with Rev. Father Brockman reading the nuptial mass.

The bride was garbed in a suit of gray gabardine, and wore a shoulder corsage of red and white roses. Her maid of honor was Miss Joan Keller, who wore a claret red suit; and the bridesmaids were Miss Eileen Keller, in a black suit; and Miss Geraldine Keller, in a forest green suit. The three wore shoulder corsages of yellow and white carnations.

Ervin Schilling served as best man, and the groom’s other attendants were Roger Kobbs and Thomas Schilling.

After the ceremony the 150 guests attended an afternoon and evening reception at the Curtiss hall, which was decorated for the occasion with multi-colored streamers.

The couple will be at home after a wedding trip through the southern part of Wisconsin. The groom is employed at the Hull Co-op Butter and Cheese Company. The bride, who graduated from Colby High School, has been employed at the Commonwealth Telephone Company at Colby, Wis.
