Gregory, Arlene (Marriage - 16 October 1948)
St. John’s Lutheran parsonage was the scene of the wedding on Saturday evening of Miss Arlene Gregory, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gregory of Racine, and Carl Nemitz, son of Mrs. Carl Nemitz, Sr., of Neillsville. The Rev. William Baumann officiated at the single-ring ceremony.
Attendants were Milton Gregory and Helen Gregory, brother and sister of the bride.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the groom’s mother and a dance at the Silver Dome.
Out-of-town guests were: Mrs. Frank Gregory, Pearl Gregory, Ralph Gregory, Norman Gregory, Franklin Gregory, Milton and Helen Gregory, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Polzin, Lorraine Polzin, Raymond Polzin, Walter Polzin, Jr., Melvin Polzin, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Polzin and children, Glenwood Toms, and Robert Billington, all were from Racine.
Mr. and Mrs. Nemitz are making their home on the farm of the groom’s mother near Neillsville (Pine Valley).
