Emil Aho, Lightweight Champion Wins Wrestling Match
The biggest crowd of the year witnessed a forty-five minute wrestling match at Schroeder's Hall last Saturday evening.
The hall was filled to capacity standing room being at a premium.
The interest centered around a wrestling match between two expert wrestlers, Emil Aho, of Curtiss, Wis., weight 145 pounds and Herman Witt, of Marshfield, Wis., weight 155 pounds.
The first fall was won by Witt with a body scissors in fifteen minutes. The second fall was won by Aho with a toe hold in twelve minutes and the third fall by Aho in thirteen minutes with the toe hold.

Mr. Witt declared that he was not prepared, having had little time to get in condition.
However, another match was announced between the same men for September 22.
Mr. Witt says he is willing to put $500 up that he can win the match. Come on you Curtiss fans, show your colors. Watch for bill announcing this match.
Earl Parks furnished the music for the dance which followed the march "A wonderful crowd" as many said. Parks will furnish the music on Sept. 22 as well.
Mr. Schroeder is trying to give the sporting element a clean show for their interest and Saturday night's crowd surely showed that everyone present appreciated what his is trying to do.
