Sischo, William Roy (28 December 1873 - 15 January 1949)
William Roy Sischo, 75, died at his home in the Town of Weston, January 15, (1949).
Funeral services were held January 18, (1949) at 2 p.m. at the Christie Methodist Church. Burial was made in the Neilslville City Cemetery, the Rev. Virgil Nulton officiating.
Mr. Sischo was born in the Town of Weston on December 28, 1873. He received his education in the rural schools in Clark County, and worked on various farms and in logging camps during the winter months.
On December 28, 1901, he was married to Jennie Holt. Five children were born to this union, all of whom survive.
Mr. Sischo had been in ill health the past two years. He farmed in the Town of Weston until about one year ago, when he remodeled a home near their farm and moved there.
Mr. Sischo is survived by his wife; two sons, Devere on the home farm, and Lyle of Wisconsin Rapids; three daughters, Mrs. Carl (Iva) Franzen, Greely, Cal.; Mrs. Frank (Ione) Spangler, Marshfield; and Mrs. Willard (Bernice) Priebe, Wausau. Three brothers also survive: Arthur of Greenwood; Bert of Salem, Ore.; and Ed from the state of Washington. Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
