Daft, Thomas James (11 May 1948 - 6 February 1949)

Thomas James Daft, nine-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Daft died at his home in Prairie du Chien at 12:30 a.m. February 6 (1949).

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Cole Funeral Home. Burial was made in Arcadia. The Rev. Virgil Nulton officiated.

Tommy was born May 11, 1948, in Neillsville. He has been ill the past four months with a skin infection. His death was due to asthma.

In addition to his bereaved parents, he leaves a brother, Robert, and two sisters, Judy and Karen.

Pallbearers were: William Whaley, A. C. Covell, Lewis Bradbury and Harry Wasserberger.

Mrs. Russell Larson sang two selections: "Jesus Tender Shepherd Hear Me," and "Brahms Lullaby." She was accompanied by Mrs. Millard Cole.

Relatives from out-of-town attending were: Robert Barlow and Millard Barlow of Bloomer.
