HAPPENINGS IN OUR VILLAGE
Mrs. Edward Zelinski and children left on Tuesday for their home in Milwaukee after a several months visit at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Lokken.
Mr. Wm. Williams entertained several of her friends at "500" Saturday evening in honor of her sister, Mrs. O. Sutherland of Tomahawk, who spent the week end here on her way to Eau Claire to attend the R. N. A. Convention.
Mr. Jake Johnson is reported to be greatly improved after her recent operation and will soon return to her home.
Fred Mercer of Abbotsford made his regular Sunday visit in our community.
John Sturner sent out cards this week announcing his seed sale for the season.
T. B. Peterman was an Owen caller Tuesday.
Several salesman representing the Northern States Power Co., were Curtiss callers Tuesday.
Mrs. F. H. Matthias and Miss Thea Thompson returned Sunday form Eau Claire where they had been the guests of friends for a few days.
Mrs. F. H. Matthias entertained the teachers of the public school and several other friends at a dinner followed by "500" on Tuesday evening.
Mrs. Merriman spent the week end at her home in Owen.
The Helping Hand Society will meet at the home of Mrs. Wm. Neitzel Friday, March 27th. All are cordially invited to attend.
Mrs. Henry Marcott of Phillips, arrived Wednesday morning to see her mother, Mrs. Packard, who is ill.
Mrs. B. B. Green returned home from Chippewa Falls last Wednesday after spending a few days with her daughter, Mrs. Jacob Johnson.
Mrs. And Mrs. Otto Kind of Stetsonville spent Sunday with relatives at Curtiss.
