Bronstad, Maude (7 May 1877 - 22 February 1949)

Mrs. Peter Bronstad, 71, a former resident of Neillsville for many years, died on Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, where she had been a patient since fracturing her hip three weeks ago. A heart ailment caused her death.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Hansen Funeral Home in Marshfield and the First Methodist Church. Burial will be made in the Hillside Cemetery in Marshfield.

Mrs. Bronstad, the former Maude Cadieu, was born in Marinette May 7, 1877, received her education there, and was married at Menominee, Mich. From Menominee where she lived a short while, she came to Neillsville. Twenty-seven years ago she moved to Marshfield.

Surviving besides her husband are seven children, Floyd of Marshfield, Mrs. Paul (Bertha) Johnson of Minneapolis, Helmer of Milwaukee, Niles of Marshfield, Mrs. Jack (Maxine) Macabee of Chicago, Mrs. Lyle (Delores) Randles of Marshfield, and Llewellyn of Syracuse, N. J. Three children died in infancy.

Other survivors are 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a brother.
