Mr. and Mrs. Will Crow and
Master Eddie spent Sunday with Mrs. Crow’s mother, Mrs. A.L. Wooster at Osseo.
Quite a number of young people from upper Pigeon attended the dance t Albert
Hanson’s Saturday evening.
Miss Mattie Lien returned to her home at
Hixton last Sunday after teaching a four month’s term of school in the Levis
district.
Will Crow, our buttermaker, has an incubator and from 150 eggs
he had a hatching of 129 eggs. We wonder if that doesn’t break the record.
Sever Peterson, of this place, and Carrie Wagner, of Minneapolis, were
married last Wednesday. They will go to house keeping at once on his farm here.
The Y.P. Society rendered an interesting program at the Levis school house
Saturday evening. Coffee and cake were served and about $3.25 were realized.
Erick Westegard, who has been suffering from blood poison in his right arm
for several months past, is now able to use that limb.
School closed in
the Levis District last Friday. An interesting program was given by the children
and the teacher as well as the pupils deserve credit. A picnic supper was
enjoyed by all present.
Mr. Bennie Lesha entertained a number of his
gentleman friends at J.B. Lund’s Wednesday evening.
A dance was held at
Albert Hanson’s last Saturday evening which was enjoyed by a goodly number.
A church sociable was held at Samuel Person’s last Sunday afternoon. Net
proceeds $5.62.
