Rudolph Olson
spent Sunday with his parents here.
Mrs. Martin Lund returned home last
Tuesday after several weeks stay at Black River Falls.
Master Eddie spent
last week with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Crow in Thompson Valley.
Frank Gill and wife treated a number of their friends to ice cream and cake
last Friday evening and John Gill entertained them with his graphaphone.
That smile which Oliver Jennings, our blacksmith, wears is caused by the
arrival of a boy Sunday, June 16th.
Miss Nora Hanson left for Duluth
Friday after a couple months stay at home.
Will Crow and family spent
Sunday with relatives at Osseo.
Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Jermstad and Miss Rena
Jermstad spent last Wednesday with Miss Mattie Lien near Hixton.
Miss
Nora Hanson was agreeably surprised by a number of her friends last Tuesday
evening. The evening was spent in dancing and an enjoyable time was had. A hand
painted salad bowl was left as a token of remembrance.
Mrs. Gust Wicklund
and baby returned to Duluth Tuesday after a month’s visit with her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Samuel Person.
Misses Clara Olson, Georgia Jacobson, Anna Lund
and Mrs. M. Lund were pleasantly entertained at J.H. Olson’s last Monday
afternoon.
A Person re-union was held at the home of Samuel Person last
Sunday afternoon. Sixty-three of their relatives were present and an enjoyable
time was had by all.
The Farmers’ Union held a coffee social at John
Gill’s last Sunday. Mr. Gill entertained the crowd with his graphaphone. About
$7.00 was realized.
