Thomas Michael Albrecht
Sr., 67, Athens, died on Thursday, August 29, 2013, at his home, surrounded by
his family, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Memorial services
will be at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2013, at St. Thomas Catholic
Church, Milan. Rev. Paul Hoffman will officiate. Friends may call on Saturday
from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the church.

Thomas Michael Albrecht Sr., 67, Athens, died on
Thursday, August 29, 2013 at his home, surrounded by his family, following a
courageous battle with cancer.
He was born December 16, 1945 in Athens,
son of the late Frank and Katherine (Gebhardt) Albrecht. On November 4, 1967, he
married Donna Kulas in Athens. She survives.
Tom graduated from the
Athens High School in 1963, and went on to serve his country in the National
Guard from 1965 to 1971. He was co-owner and operator of the Farmers Mill of
Athens, Merrill, Tomahawk and Medford. Most recently, he was employed with
Marathon Feed and Grain. Tom was very proud to have worked in the agricultural
industry for 50 years.
Among his favorite pastimes, he loved
woodworking, gardening, fishing and life on his homestead known as "Ha-Bie
Achers" farm.
Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Donna
Albrecht, Athens; four children, Tom (Tracy Weiler) Albrecht Jr., Athens, Julie
(Dave) Rock, Eagle River, Scott (Tracy Losiewicz) Albrecht, Merrill and Vicki
(Adam) Halopka, Athens; eight grandchildren, Dan Finke, Eagle River, Brett,
Kevin and Jonathan Albrecht, Ty, Mason and Tori Halopka, all of Athens and
Vaughn Albrecht, Merrill; eight siblings, Bette (the late Bill) McConnell,
Phoenix, AZ, Mary Ann (the late Merf) Lawrence, Doyle, CA, Carmella (the late
Harold) Mallak, Wausau, Jeanne (Ron) Geissler, Minnetonka, MN, Frank (Carrie)
Albrecht, Juneau, Gerald (Sharon) Albrecht, Wausau, Patrick (Diane) Albrecht and
Robert (Mary) Albrecht, both of Athens; his father and mother-in-law; Dave and
Elvera Kulas, Athens; and many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Besides his
parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Adrian Albrecht.
