Grap, Susan Jean
(Marriage - 18 July 1970)
Miss Susan Jean Grap, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Frederick Grap, Sr., of Neillsville, was united in marriage to Daniel Gustave
Schwark, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gustave Schwark of Willard, Saturday at 7 p.m. in
Immanuel Lutheran Church in Globe. The Rev. Robert Bitter performed the double
ring ceremony in the presence of 200 guests.
The bride wore an A-line
satin gown, with lace and a jewel-shaped neckline with bell sleeves. She carried
a bouquet of orchids, stephanotis and she was escorted to the altar by her
father.
Mrs. June Huettenrauch was matron-of-honor. Miss Carol Laudon was
bridesmaid. They wore light blue, full-length princess-style gowns, and carried
baskets of daisies.
David Schwark was bestman. Wayne Schwark was
groomsman. Ushers were Lewis Grap and Lavern Scheier.
“The Lord’s Prayer”
and “The Lord’s My Shepherd” were sung by Mrs. Jo Ann Ruzic and Frederick Grap,
Jr., accompanied by Richard Gaichas.
A reception was held at the home of
the bride’s parents on Rt. 3 Neillsville.
The bride attended the
Neillsville Public Schools and Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minn., and
is employed as a teacher. The groom attended the Green Lake Public Schools and
is a farmer in Willard.
After a wedding trip to the western states, the
couple will make their home on Rt. 1 Willard on August 1.
