Bonas, Hulda, (07 Jan 1888-13 Feb 1966)
Mrs. Fred (Hulda) Bonas, 78, died
AT 9:30 P.M., February 13, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield fo;;owing poor
health from a stroke in November.
Funeral services will be held Thursday,
February 17, at 2 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal. The Rev. A. M.
Moldenhauer will officiate and burial will be made to the Loyal Cemetery. Myre
Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The former Hulda Janke was
born January 7, 1888 at Freedonia, On July 10, 1911 she married Fredrich Bonas,
who survives her, at St. Joseph, Michigan. Before her marriage she lived in
Chicago, Illinois and they resided there till 1913 when they moved near Medford
on a farm. In 1924 they moved to a farm near Loyal.
Mrs. Bonas was a
member of Trinity Lutheran Church and it’s woman club and a;so to a homemaker’s
club.
Besides being survived by her husband she is survived by two
daughters Mrs. Gregory (Elaine) Burley. Milwaukee and Mrs. Liston (Mildred)
Jahr, Fullerton, California; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild; two
brothers Harold and Henry Janke, Fredonia; two sisters Mrs. Frieda Himstedt,
Freedonia and Mrs. Amanda Kuss, Medford.
Two brothers preceded her in
death.
