Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Pribnow celebrated their fiftieth anniversary Sunday, April 2at their home in Loyal.

Mr. Pribnow was born in Colby and his wife in Pigeon, Michigan. The couple were married March 31, 1916 at Neillsville.

The couple are parents of a daughter, Mrs, George (Wavaglee0 Miller, rural route, Unity and a son, Jack, Loyal.

Mr. Pribnow was a Soo Line Operator from 1916 to 1923. In 1923 he was a field-man for a vegetable cannery at Colby until 1939. In 1939 he had a insurance office at Loyal til 1953 when he became local postmaster til 1961 in that year he retired,
