Mrs. Anna Olson chose for her marriage to Fred Wenzel of Westboro a street length dress of royal blue crepe with a corsage of white gardenias and matching accessories.
Her attendant, Mrs. Ida M. Kleiber of Medford wore a navy blue with matching accessories and corsage of gardenias.
The groom was attended by Herman Steare of Westboro.
Mrs. Olson, who is well known in Abbotsford, having lived here the past 23 years, was united in marriage on Tuesday morning at eleven o’clock to Fred Wenzel of Westboro. Dr. Ernest L. Hoover performed the ceremony in the Presbyterian Parsonage at Edgar in the presence of a small group of friends.
A wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride following the ceremony. In the evening neighbors and friends welcomed the couple with a charivari.
Mr. and Mrs. Wenzel are making their home in Abbotsford, the former having retired from active farming. His father, Fred Wenzel, will also make his home with them.
In a few days Mr. and Mrs. Wenzel will leave on a wedding trip of several week’s duration.
Among the guests from away who attended the wedding were Mrs. Clara Klimeck and daughter, Stetsonville, Mrs. Ida Ruesch, Medford; Mr. and Mrs. Gust Wille and daughter, Gertrude, Rib Lake, Mrs. Amelia Stehr, Westboro; Mrs. Joe Zupanic, west Allis.
