Mr. and Mrs. Bill Neuhaus and Elaine Wachholz of St. Paul,
Minn., and a girl friend, Lisa, of Finland, visited Mr. and Mrs. Victor Neuhaus
in Mequon over the weekend. On their way back Sunday, they stopped to see Mrs.
Leonard Wachholz. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Neuhaus visited in Finland last summer with
Lisa’s parents. They also stopped to see Mr. and Mrs. William Simek while here.
Mr. and Mrs. Glen Wachholz of St. Paul plan to visit Mrs. Leonard Wachholz
this weekend.
Mrs. Margaret Robinson entered Memorial Hospital Monday
for observation and tests.
Mr and Mrs. George Savageau of Arlington
Heights, Ill., spent several days recently with Amy Lewerenz.
Mr. and
Mrs. Richard Pelnar and son, Greg of West Bend, called at the Amy Lewerenz home
recently.
Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Smith of Eau Claire visited several days
recently at the Bergen Smith home after returning from a month’s trip to Europe.
Darwin will teach in Osseo again this year and his wife will be practice teacher
in Menomonie for the firs semester.
Mr. and Mrs. Bergen Smith and
daughter, Etta, have returned from a 10-day vacation trip to Detroit, Mich. They
visited their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Smith, and family in
Detroit and made acquaintance with their first great-grandson. They returned by
way of the Mackinac Bridge and visited Mackinac Island. They attended the golden
wedding of Mrs. Smith’s cousin in Iron Mountain, Mich., and visited her brother
and sisters before returning home.
