Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ulesich returned last week from a three-day trip to Mackinac Island, Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., and across the International Bridge to the northern tip of Canada.

Miss Mary Ann Artac of Milwaukee spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Artac.

Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Robey and daughter, Lorraine, of St. Paul spent Tuesday and Wednesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Plautz and family. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Plautz and son Dannie, of Milwaukee, visited there from Thursday until Saturday.

Mrs. Anna Silc and daughter, Gina, of Cleveland, O., are guests of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Champa and also ware visiting old friends and acquaintances.

Mrs. John Popovich, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Zorman and Mr. and Mrs. John Kaltinger, all of Greenwood, were recent callers at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Plautz.

The members of the Slovenian Women’s Union held their annual picnic last Sunday afternoon at the outdoor shelter in Willard. A potluck lunch was enjoyed by all present. After the lunch games were played.

Mr. and Mrs. Duane Patridge of Schofield are on a vacation to the western states, Yellowstone National Park and other points. Their children, Kristina and David, are staying with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Krapf, Sr.

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hauser of Chicago, Ill., are spending the weekend at their summer cottage here.

Mr. and Mrs. Matt Wind and daughter of Chicago, Ill., are spending a week with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Debevec.

Mr. and Mrs. Clint Johnson and Jill of St. Paul, Minn., spent last week with Mrs. Anna Herrick.

Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Smith and Michelle of St. Paul, Minn., were guests last week at the Robert Herrick and Anna Herrick homes.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank McGraw and family of Rockford, Ill., were guests last Tuesday of Mr. and Mrs. John Verschay.

Mrs. Anna Wright of Seattle, Wash., is spending a week with her sister and brother-ion-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Parkel, Jr.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Parkel, Jr., visited last Sunday with Carl Webber at the hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.

Mr. and Mrs. Julius Klapatauskas and daughter, Kren, and Mrs. Sam Vall9one and daughter, Lisa, of Milwaukee left last week on a vacation to Minnesota and Canada.

Mrs. Mary Brezic is a patient at the hospital in Marshfield since last week.

Louis Fortuna, Sr., is a patient at Memorial Hospital in Neillsville since Friday.

Sister M. Antonia left Monday for Wabasha, Minn. She was accompanied by her sister, Mrs. Ignatz Sladich.

Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Flick and family of Milwaukee and Albert Flick of Fairchild were guests Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Gosar and family.
