Vickery, Edna (11 JUL 1873 - 5 FEB 1943)
Mrs. Edna Vickery, 69, died at her home near Washburn Friday evening Feb. 5, of a heart ailment.
Mrs. Vickery (nee Edna Borden) was born at Loyal on July 11, 1873. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eben Borden, pioneer residents of this locality.
She was married to Fred Vickery in June, 1897, at Bertha, Minn. From there they moved to Loyal, and in 1918 they moved to Washburn. While in Loyal she joined the local society of Royal Neighbors of America and retained her membership here until her death.
She is survived by her husband; one son, Camerson, Flint, Mich.; three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Gales of Milwaukee, Mrs. Florence Frederick of Ashland and Mrs. Marjorie Huff of Ashland; seven grandchildren; one brother, and three sisters. Mrs. Marion Cook is one of the sisters.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon.
