Shumway, W.P. (1 FEB 1847 – 15 Apr 1916)

W.P. Shumway died on Saturday at his home southwest of this city after an illness of several months’ duration. Deceased was born in Illinois and was 69 years, 2 months and 4 days of age. He was a man of excellent character and was highly esteemed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife and two sons. The funeral was held Tuesday, interment taking place in the Southwest Pine Valley Cemetery.
