Frank Kirch, of Winona, Minn., spent several days with his relatives, Frank Beyerl and family.
Miss Melinda Henkel went to Eau Claire, Friday, for a few days visit with her sister, Mrs. A. G. Phipps.
Harry Schreiber and Elmer Larson, who are working on bridge crews out of Ashland, were home over Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kemps, of Medford, spent a few days last week with Chas. Rasmussen and family in the town of Hull.
Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Bowers, of Stevens Point, spent several days last week with Mrs. Bowers’ parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Hoppen.
A. Bruss and family went to Spencer yesterday morning where they attended the funeral of Mrs. Herman Bruss, who died Sunday.
Miss Caroline Schuh, teacher of district No. 2 school, town of Colby, attended the teacher’s institute held at Owen last Friday and Saturday.
Wm. Graumann, Ed Brehm and Wenzel Sazama attended a stockholders’ meeting of the Unity Produce Co. held in that city Monday.
Gustave Guhr of Stetsonville, visited Tuesday with Wm. Dehne and family. He left here yesterday morning for Manitowoc to visit other relatives.
Supervisor Jos. Weix, of the East ward, and Chairman Nick Kanter, of the town of Hull, returned from a meeting of the Marathon county board last Saturday.
The annual meeting of the Harmony Co-operative Produce company will be held Tuesday afternoon, February 5th, at 1 o’clock, in Umhoefer’s hall. All stockholders should be present.
Mrs. R. Brundleson, of Augusta spent several days with her sister-in-law, Mrs. S. LaBudde, who has been very ill. She left for home Tuesday. Mrs. LaBudde is reported as somewhat improved.
