Wm. Witte was a Colby visitor last Tuesday.
Mrs. John Kuehnau was a Marshfield visitor on Tuesday last.
Agent Feit and wife were Colby visitors last Sunday afternoon.
Theodore Flink was a Stevens Point visitor last Thursday afternoon.
Messrs. Neuling, Misener and Messer attended the Scott tournament at Colby last Sunday.
Miss Pearl Draper entertained a number of her friends at a six o’clock luncheon Sunday evening.
Rev. Olander spent the forepart of the week at Auburndale on business connected with the church.
County Surveyor, R. H. Brown is over at Marathon City subdividing a couple sections of land.
Mr. and Mrs. Martin Hellestad and daughter Vernice were Marshfield, Wis. visitors Saturday.
Ted Salter will leave next week for Madison where he will enter the State University.
Mrs. Roy Smith of Huron, South Dakota is the guest of her uncle and aunt Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Cutts.
The Junior class program and social at the school house last Friday evening netted the class a very neat sum.
Wm. Creed went to Madison Monday to take in the road school and the "Get-to-gether" meeting. He will return Friday.
Taylor Wilson, wife and child who are now residing at Collins, Ia., came up last Friday for a visit with their parents.
J. W. Salter is at Madison this week attending the "Get-together meeting" and taking in the sights at the capital.
A. A. Damon of Spencer came up Wednesday to visit his mother and sister, Mrs. John Kuehnau and attend the Cook funeral.
Among the speakers at a big Methodist function at one of the big Milwaukee churches one day last week were Miss Vendia Hansen of this village.
When the cheese business gets fully underway this season will find at least eight shipping factories in this vicinity which may be increased to ten.
Theo. Fortney informs us that the increase in milk at his factory has caused him to begin making cheese every day, instead of every other day.
Miss Elsie Bast who is the book keeper for Felker Bros. at Marshfield and who had been the guest of her sister, Mrs. Herb Griepentrog, returned home Sunday.
Mrs. Geo. Wilson was taken to the hospital at Marshfield Saturday where after careful examination she was operated upon for appendicitis and is doing nicely.
O. C. Perschke left Sunday night for Milwaukee, Kiel and Omro. At the former city he will take in the hardware dealers convention and visit with friends at Kiel and Omro.
