Cherokee - June 2, 1921
The dance given by Company B, of Abbotsford, Sunday night, was not very well attended.
The Cherokee card club and their families enjoyed a picnic supper at the river Sunday afternoon.
Edwin Smith of Marion is spending a few days at the Chulit home.
Mrs. Otto Baumgart left Saturday night for Chippewa Falls where she will spend a few days with her father, Mr. Orth, of Colby, Wis.
Louis Becker entertained about 25 couples at a barn dance Saturday evening.
Dean Rein was a Schofield visitor Saturday night.
Miss Laura Graumann spent the week-end here with her parents.
The Cherokee school closed last Friday. The children and their teacher, Miss Baum, and the children’s parents enjoyed a picnic dinner Saturday. The afternoon was spent in playing games.
The Athletic club will meet Monday evening, June 6th instead of Tuesday evening, because of five of the members joining Co. R., of Abbotsford, Wis. Let’s see a full attendance, for there is talk of base ball *** Note: The remainder of this article was missing.
