Buker, Bertha Minnie (20 April 1898 - 9 August 1970)

Mrs. Bertha M. Buker, 72, of Greenwood, died Sunday in Neillsville, where she was admitted to the hospital six weeks ago. She had been a patient in Memorial Hospital and Home since March 6, following a stroke.

Mr. Buker, the former Bertha Minnie Braun, daughter of Christian and Elizabeth (Wilck) Braun, was born April 20, 1898, in the Town of Warner. She was married September 15, 1922, to George Buker in Greenwood. They farmed in the Town of Mead. After his death on April 8, 1968, she moved into the city of Greenwood.

Survivors are nephews and a number of cousins.

Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Zion United Church, with the Rev. David Logue officiating. Burial was to be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
