Mueller, Betty J. (12 SEP 1935 - 29 SEP 2008)
Betty J. Mueller, 73, W814 Todd Road, Granton (Clark Co., Wis.), died at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 29, 2008 at her home surrounded by family members.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2, at Buchanan Funeral Home in Pittsville, with Rev. Tom Hahn officiating. Pat Weiss served as organist for congregational singing. Burial was in the Sherwood Cemetery.
Betty was born Sept. 12, 1935 in Rudolph to henry and Mary (Thiemke) Darr. She was educated at Rocky Run School and graduated from Pittsville High School in 1953.
Betty was united in marriage to Charles Mueller on June 19, 1954 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Pittsville. After marriage they farmed and raised mink in the Town of Sherwood. Betty was a homemaker and also worked for 10 years at Memorial Nursing Home in Neillsville. She loved music and dancing. Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who always put others before herself. She loved to visit with friends and relatives by phone and always remembered them with cards. She was a strong woman with a strong faith and never complained. Betty was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Pittsville.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Mueller of Granton, six children, Larry Mueller of Chili, Cheryl (John) Hink of Neillsville, Rose (Cyril) Rakovec of Pittsville, John Mueller of Neillsville, James Mueller (partner Jeff McDonald) of Wausau and Connie Reshel of Granton; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Ellen (Ray) Hoffman of Auburndale, Ralph (Eileen) Darr of Pittsville, Shirley (Jim) Lawrence of Vesper, Joyce Kroening of Spencer and Dale (Cheryl) Darr of Pittsville.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Everett and David, and one son-in-law, Randy Reshel.
Gone yet not forgotten, although we are apart, you spirit lives within us, forever in our hearts.
