Wm. Foster of Fairchild was in our city Monday.
Forrest Shanks returned to Fond du Lac Tuesday.
Mrs. W.A. Cadman of
Fairchild was here between trains Monday.
The Greenwood kids defeated the
Shanktown kids in a score of 6 to 4.
Miss Edna Polley of Loyal visited at
the home of Tom Leach Sunday.
Abe Bailey of Black River falls was in the
city Wednesday purchasing horses.
The Ladies' Aid Society will meet with
rs. O. Anderson Friday afternoon, June 3.
Mrs. Sarah Meek of Withee was
also here to attend the exercises Decoration day.
The German Ladies'
Society will meet with Mrs. John Christianson on Friday, June 10.
Bills
are out announcing a dance in the M.W.A. Hall tonight. King's Orchestra will
furnish the music.
Mr. and Mrs. E.F. Wollenberg entertained Oakley
Parkhill and mother of Thorp at their home on Monday.
Mrs. L.M. Wellen,
accompanied by her mother, Mrs. Freeman, arrived here Tuesday morning from
Whitehall, Wis.
Reserve you seats early at the Drug Store for the
Honeymooners, who play at the hall Saturday evening, June 4th.
Miss Pearl
Weast returned home Monday from Minneapolis, where she has been employed during
the past winter.
Henry Wallis, who is attending school at Evansville,
Wis., came Friday for an over Sunday stay among his young friends.
Roy
and Ethel Ellis of North Freedom, returned to their home at that palce after a
two week visit with their cousin, Harry Babb.
