Koltis, Genevieve A. (Marriage - 16 July 1949)
Mr. and Mrs. Rhinehart C. Lewerenz, newlyweds have established their home at 22 ½ E. Central Ave., Chippewa Falls. Mr. Lewerenz works in that city as a cabinetmaker. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lewerenz of Neillsville.
The wedding took place July 16, 1949, the double ring ceremony being performed by the Rev. Fr. Piekarski of St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church at Thorp. The bride was Genevieve A. Koltis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Koltis of Thorp.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose as her gown, white satin with an over-lace and net trimmed with seeded pearls. Her long veil was also trimmed with seeded pearls. She carried a shower bouquet of white roses and gardenias.
Miss Helen Koltis as maid of honor, Mrs. John Bogue, sister of the bride, and Miss Ethel Sokolowsky, friend of the bride, as bridesmaids wore white marquisette gowns and carried bouquets of red roses and white carnations. John Bogue, Ben Koltis and Walter Koltis attended the groom.
A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.
Out of town guests at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. John Bogue, Helen Koltis and Ted Koltis, Mr. and Mrs. Lentouski, Betty Hoeshal, all of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Schroeder and daughter, May Lou of Cornell, and Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Roloff of Kendall.
