Siebarth, Ida (29 Mar. 1875 - 3 May 1957)
Spencer, Wis. - Funeral services will be held here Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Trinity Lutheran Church for Mrs. Ida Siebarth, 82, route 1, Spencer, who died at her home Friday morning after a week’s illness.
The body, which will lie in state at the Swarthout Funeral Home beginning this evening, will be taken to the church at 12:30 p.m. Monday. The Rev. August Saremba will conduct the final rites and burial will be made in the West Spencer cemetery.
Mrs. Siebarth, the former Ida Griepentrog, was born in Milwaukee March 29, 1875, and was a young girl when her parents, the late August Griepentrogs, moved to a farm in this area. She was married here to Albert Siebarth Dec. 18, 1902. He died Feb. 6 of this year.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Andrew (Lena) Brown, Omaha, Neb.; Mrs. Austin (Hattie) Hancock, Marshfield; Mrs. Albert (Minnie) Foss, Spencer; Mrs. Howard (Elvera) Smith, Clayton; and Mrs. Lenora Miller, West Allis; two stepchildren, Albert Siebarth Jr., Monroe, Mich., and Mrs. Albert (Leona) Toltzman, Loyal; two brothers, Fred and Charles Griepentrog, Spencer; 33 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren. Two children preceded her in death.
