Thorp - May 10, 1945

Mrs. Leo Oberle and children, Gilman, visited last week at the William Oberle home.

Mrs. Harold Krarup and son, Mrs. James Pickett, and Miss Isabel Pickett spent the week end visiting at the home of their aunt, Mrs. Lewis Goethen, Glenwood City.

Miss Helen Gossegner spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Davis, Hannibal.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fisher returned home last week after spending a month with relatives in Cazanovia.

Pvt. Arthur Doege, who spent a 10-day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Doege, and family, left May 2 for Fort George Meade, Md.

Mrs. Hablewitz, Milwaukee, is visiting indefinitely with her daughter here. Mr. and Mrs. Hablewitz will make their home in Thorp as soon as rooms are available.
