Jahr, Frank E. (11 June 1878 - 17 August 1970)

Funeral services for Frank E. Jahr, 92, of Neillsville, who died Monday, were to be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Georgas Funeral Home. Mrs. Tom Yndogliato was to be the Christian Science Reader in charge. Burial was to be made in Windfall Cemetery, Granton.

Mr. Jahr was born June 11, 1878, in Neillsville to Bernard and Augusta (Drescher) Jahr. He married the late Elsie Wilke on June 12, 1907, in Neillsville. She died in 1965. He worked on a farm and later they operated their own farm for 21 years in the Town of Fremont. They retired and moved to Neillsville, where he resided until he entered the Memorial Home about 2½ years ago.

Survivors include five sons: Linton of Fullerton, Calif., Victor of Chippewa Falls, Everett of Watsonville, Calif., Marvin of Granton and Franklin of Beloit; a sister, Mrs. Clara Reichert of La Crosse; a brother, Edward of Granton; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
