Begley, Archie (? - 1949)

Funeral services were held on Monday for Archie D. Begley at 2 p.m. at the Sparta Lutheran Church. The body lay in state at a funeral home there and interment took place there.

Mr. Begley, who was born and raised in Clark County, died at the age of 44, after an illness of several months. He was graduated from River Falls State Teachers College. He taught school at Gilmanton and was county agricultural agent of Monroe County since 1938.

Surviving are his wife and two sons, DeVere and Harold of Sparta, his mother, Mrs. Bertha Begley and one sister, Mrs. Fred (Blanche) Mohr of Neillsville.

His father, George Begley, precede him in death on June 17 of this year.
