There will be an oyster supper and dance at the town hall Saturday
night, March 4th, given by the baseball team. Supper 50 cents a couple and free
dance. Everyone come and have a good time.
Born to Mr. and Mrs. H.
Knutson Monday, Feb. 28, a son.
Ed Hagle and Amos Kegly attended the
Anton-Kelly boxing bout at Marshfield Monday night.
T.M. Winters visited
at Tripoli and Ladysmith a few days this week.
Mrs. Amos Kegly has been
in Neillsville the past week consulting the doctor.
Mrs. Ed. Carter, who
has had a hard tussel with the measles, is somewhat improved at this writing.
Grandpa Irish and his granddaughter, Bernice, arrived here from Rochester on
the morning train Tuesday. Clarence Irish and family and Mrs. M. Short expect to
be here to move onto Mrs. Short’s farm in about a week.
The new boiler
was put into the cheese factory Tuesday.
Several from here were at
Neillsville Monday.
The lodge took in the following new members Saturday
night: Mr. and Mrs. F.G. Wall, Mrs. Walter Bell and Milton McPherson. Walter
Bell didn’t get his papers back so he will join in two weeks when some other new
members are expected.
