Spencer, Wis. - Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church for Mrs. Alfred Sampson, 79, who died Tuesday. The Rev. James Hagen, pastor, officiated and burial was made in the West Spencer cemetery *** Note: The remainder of this article was missing.

Hawkeness married Alfred Jay Sampson (24 Aug 1886 - 23 Aug 1963).  Alfred was the son of Hans L. and Johanna Elise (Johnson) Sampson.  He was previously married to Bessie Orton (8 Mar 1891 - 9 Aug 1950).  She was the daughter of Ole Eliason Orton and Anna Torsdatter (Furdal) Thorson.
