Shortville (2 Mar 1916)

At this writing Thos. Winters is visiting his brother, Wm., and family at Tripoli.

Last Saturday night Floyd Wall and wife, Milton McPherson and Mrs. Bell rode the Mystic goat of this place.

R. Frantz has been doing custom work with his wood saw outfit.

One of Jesse Wilding’s big gray mares died at Schweinler hospital last week of rupture of the large intestine.

At this writing, Mrs. Ed. Carter is under the doctor’s care, being sick with measles.

John Ziglinski bought hay of J.M. Winters.

Mrs. Jim Short, Sr., and son-in-law, Clarence Irish, and family will move onto the Short farm here soon.
