Sell, August (9 NOV 1882 - 23 OCT 1946)

Friday noon the remains of August Sell, former Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) resident of many years, will arrive in the city from Chicago. Unfortunately the Enterprise has been able to learn very little of Mr. Sell’s death, only that word has been received from Chicago, where he passed away earlier in the week, that funeral services will be conducted from the Griebenow Funeral Parlors at two o’clock Saturday afternoon, and interment will be made in the church cemetery in the town of Beaver.

About two months ago Mr. Sell visited with relatives and friends in this community. Three years ago he sold his farm interests and moved to Chicago, where he has been making his home with his daughter. Previous to that time he had been a resident of this community for more than 30 years.

A brother Herman, resides in the Town of Beaver.
