Funeral services for Carl P.
Buddinger, 61, who died November 3, were held November 6, at 1:30 p.m. from the
Georgas Funeral Home. The Rev. Melvin Nickel of the United Methodist Church
officiated with burial in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
Pallbearers were
Floyd Heck, Joe Boh, Sheldon Heck, Richard Schmidt, Ed Greeler, and Julius
Rennak. “Someday we’ll understand” and “Goodnight Here and Good Morning up
There” were sung by Miss Julie Schmidt, accompanied by Mrs. Jess W. Scott.
People attending the service from out-of-town included Mr. and Mrs. Ernest
Crossett, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Burt, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Vandeberg, and Mr. and
Mrs. Elmer Riedel, all of Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Crossett, La Crosse;
Mrs. Ray Hannan, Mrs. Clara White, and Mr and Mrs. Herbert Free, all of Loyal;
Mr and Mrs. Ross Stephens, Spencer; H. L. Christenson, Abbotsford; Mrs. Ruth
Searls, Mrs. Elda Bartz, Mrs. Raymond Nickel, and Dr. Victor Tharp, all of
Granton; and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Heck, Greenwood.
